We have great news everyone, I'm talking amazing wonderful news! We have been matched to a family =] A great perfect amazing family who has some family and financial issues that does not allow them to care for the precious gift they have been given. They have know for awhile that adoption was there only option and prayed that they could keep their little one but after a recent family ordeal, they now know that it is impossible to care for this child. The child is a sweet little baby boy and his name is Rayden Jay and he is almost 3 months old. Although we are all incredibly thrilled about our new addition, our heart painfully aches for this family who can no longer care for him. As of right now, Rayden is in foster care and we are recieving pictures of him weekly and we will be doing this until all paperwork is finished which will probably be early January. Then, he will come to be with us in foster care until we legally adopt him. There is always a chance that things could change and the adoption will not happen but we are all praying that this is the little one that God has given to us. This process has been much more challenging than Lilly's adoption, so hopefully this is it and we can get this little guy settled at his new home very soon! If its not to much trouble, I would like to ask for prayers that all goes well and that the right decision for Rayden is made =]

Well, the past is now gone and we now begin the new step. Actually its not exactly new but we have to start over. So here we are again waiting for that match. Its so tough to wait but we know its what we have to do and God will see fit for us to get our baby home. Lilly is waiting paitiently but she also continues to ask where is her baby. She doesn't really understand the wait concept.
We have changed a few things to our profile and made our age range more flexible. Mom had a dream that we adopted a four year old little boy and she says that she thinks God was telling her something in her dream. So hopefully soon we will find something out. Hopefully we will have a new addition to our family by this time next year.
Please Pray!

---Blog is currently under construction...exuse the mess---
Hey everyone, I am so excited to let you all know that we have been matched to a birthmother who is due to have her baby in 2 weeks. As you probably already know, its not going to be an Annie...its going to be a Caleb! Thats right, the little one will be a boy! We are so overjoyed and cannot wait to hold him for the first time! There is alot of preparing to do because we were thinking that the little one would be a girl. So we are very busy getting everything ready for a little man :)
We have met the mother and she is going to be staying with us this week. We ask that you all just pray for her because she is in such a difficult position right now. I wish I had pictures to share right now but I don't of course since Caleb has not arrived. I will very soon though!!
Check back soon for updates!!

This adoption sure has been drawn out it seems. We have had three families look at our profiles but sadly, they have all fell through. However, right now, we have someone viewing it that we are going to meet this Saturday! So please pray that goes well!! I will update as soon as we get more information...it might be a little while.

Hey everyone, I am so sorry that I couldn't get this post up sooner but blogger wouldn't cooperate with me. I just wanted to let everyone know that our profile is currently being reviewed by a family!!! This doesn't really mean anything other than the family might be interested. I can't give out any information about the family other than the fact that the mom is pregnant so if we were to get this family, we would be getting the baby from birth, just like we did with Lilly! I am not saying that this means we have a baby to adopt right now, it just is a good sign that people are starting to be interested in our profile :) I just wanted to let you guys know this so you can have somewhat of an update!

We are now officially on the waiting list for a new little one! I am so excited and praying that this adoption runs just as smoothly as it did with Miss Lilly. We are also currently on a foster family list as well so hopefully we will soon be caring for a little one! This is exciting stuff!!

Today my mom and dad put together the last page of our family profile! Tomorrow, we are taking it to the agency and having our first family meeting! I am so excited because once all of this goes through, we just have to wait for a birth family to choose us. You never really know how long its going to take. It could be as short as one month...but as long as a year. I'm hoping for just a couple of months. We are going to be open for little ones up to age 2. So this way, we might get a newborn, a toddler, or we might get a pregnant birthmom. Who knows..
We have actually already started new baby prep...we got out all of Lilly's clothes and went through them last night. We know its early, but we're just excited!!
Thats all I got for now!
I'll update as soon as we know something else.

I am so excited about this! As many of you know a little over a year ago my family adopted Lillyana Jayde through domestic adoption. Now we are in the beginning process for a little sister for her. I am so excited! We are still getting our profile together and hope to have everything finished by early April, then all the fun waiting can start. After much thought, we decided that we are going to request a little girl...but if a little boy is available first, then we would gladly take him. We have the name picked out...we will call her Annie Ray. If we were to get a little boy, then we would name him Caleb Jordan. I am so excited to get this on the road and have another little one in the house! Check back for updates!
