here we go =]

After tons of paperwork, praying, more paperwork, and much more praying...we are very proud to announce that we venture off to Kentucky this Friday to pick up our new little guy! Thats right, it is time to bring Rayden Jay home to joing our family through foster care. This doesn't mean that we have adopted him...it just means that we will be caring for him until, hopefully, he is our little guy forever! With all of this paperwork being done, I am now able to do what everyone has wanted...PICTURE TIME!
Isn't he perfect?!? Now in this picture he was only about 5 weeks and he has grown quite a bit since then but I just wanted to show this because it was the first picture that we ever got to see of his sweet face! Here are a few more...

Very soon...

I'll have pictures to share!

BIG NEWS! is this it?

We have great news everyone, I'm talking amazing wonderful news! We have been matched to a family =] A great perfect amazing family who has some family and financial issues that does not allow them to care for the precious gift they have been given. They have know for awhile that adoption was there only option and prayed that they could keep their little one but after a recent family ordeal, they now know that it is impossible to care for this child. The child is a sweet little baby boy and his name is Rayden Jay and he is almost 3 months old. Although we are all incredibly thrilled about our new addition, our heart painfully aches for this family who can no longer care for him. As of right now, Rayden is in foster care and we are recieving pictures of him weekly and we will be doing this until all paperwork is finished which will probably be early January. Then, he will come to be with us in foster care until we legally adopt him. There is always a chance that things could change and the adoption will not happen but we are all praying that this is the little one that God has given to us. This process has been much more challenging than Lilly's adoption, so hopefully this is it and we can get this little guy settled at his new home very soon! If its not to much trouble, I would like to ask for prayers that all goes well and that the right decision for Rayden is made =]
